Every once in a while, you stumble on a campground that just has it all. For us, that place is KOA Vail Lake in Temecula. From the moment we arrived with Cassie, it felt less like a typical campground and more like a family-friendly resort—with all the charm of camping still intact.

There’s no shortage of things to do at Vail Lake. The kids couldn’t get enough of the mini putt-putt golf course and begged for round after round. Golf carts are available to rent, which made exploring the sprawling campground even more fun (and convenient for tired little legs). Add in a lively pool scene—complete with music, laughter, and plenty of energy—and you’ve got a place that keeps everyone entertained from morning till night.
