Peaceful and meaningful, Otter Creek State Park gave us quiet fishing days and space to gather with family as we spread my father-in-law’s ashes — a place forever tied to our memories.

Our favorite spot so far — Temecula KOA at Vail Lake has it all: mini golf, golf carts, live music, and a lively pool scene in the heart of wine country.

The kids and I enjoyed swimming during hot days and scootering by the creek at night at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve — simple, sweet fun close to home.

Rustic charm, shady trees, and even a zip-line for the kids — Boulevard/Cleveland National Forest KOA Holiday quickly became one of our most-loved spots for family-friendly adventure.
