Finding a Favorite: Boulevard KOA in Southern California
If our first trip with Cassie was about learning the ropes, our next trip was about finding a place that truly felt like a fit for our family. Enter the Boulevard KOA in Southern California.
From the moment we pulled in, we loved the rustic vibe. Nestled among rolling hills and oak trees, the campground feels tucked away, but still family-friendly. Unlike some of the more “parking lot” style campgrounds, this one has character and space to explore.
Why We Loved Boulevard KOA
Rustic, woodsy feel that makes it feel like real camping.
A zipline for the kids! (This was hands-down their favorite part).
Plenty of space to roam and explore, which meant less screen time and more adventures.
Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere—we never felt rushed or crowded.
It was one of those trips where everything clicked: the kids had a blast, our dog was in heaven exploring, and Cassie felt perfectly at home in her spot. This campground is one we’ll absolutely return to again and again.
